Previous owner: Went fishing with it
I bought the car from a retired teacher who wanted to reduce the number of cars in his hands.
The retired teacher explained that he occasionally uses it for fishing trips and it was his son who previously used the car. I met his son once. He said "Hey! My old car!" with eyes fixed nostalgically on the car without even a glance at me.
I know little of the other previous owners. All I know is that I could tell they really took care of the car.

I used the Alfasud for almost 8 years. I drove it everywhere. Several times to Penang (about 4 hours drive) and even to Singapore (also about 4 hours drive). Being a rare car, many drivers on the road "checked it out." One man couldn't stop smiling when looking at the car. Maybe he also has a history with a car like this. Truly, this car can make heads turn. I even went dating with my wife in this car. Perhaps both of us have a history with this car as well.
A passenger once told me that the car sounds very different from other cars. Few cars now use the Flat-4 Boxer engine. Volkswagen and Subaru comes to mind. Overhauled it once. The mechanic said that it was about time for an overhaul and that the engine still runs good.
